
i was very sad to hear of the closure of restaurant manor rock in hudson, whose menu was uniquely reflective of the harvest from its nearby farm. at the time of writing, that harvest includes german chamomile, huacatay, natsu cucumber, mara des bois strawberries, young fennel, kabu turnips, beets, carrots, french breakfast radishes, lemon balm, lavender, chervil, dill, lovage, coriander berry, and mangalitsa and kunekune pork. i was similarly giddy to hear of its reopening.
