Selima Optique

my everyday sunglasses since high school have been the marlene sun from selima, which i grew up going to on wooster street with my parents. i would sit there acting professionally bored while they spent what felt like hours inside doing god knows what. it's since re-entered the zeitgeist as the maker of carolyn bessette-kennedy's iconic frames, since renamed the "cbk." all of their pieces are expensive, but they're so singular and absurdly well made. i take an unreasonable amount of pride in mine.
