California Sagebrush

in anticipation of this weekend’s herb walk with @Louise Buckley and @Londyn Harris, behold my favorite plant (not an herb, sorry). one of the best parts of living in socal is the abundance of california sagebrush, known to many as “cowboy cologne.” snag a twig, rub it between your fingers, and bask in one of the best smells on earth. So many candles and perfumes try to capture its essence, but none get it quite right.
