one of, if not the, most special airbnbs i’ve stayed in was this colonial home in the middle of the rainforest. made of wood designed an argentinan craftsman-architect and adorned with antiques from the host’s food columnist grandmother. there’s also a wonderful housekeeper on-site to help prepare meals. if you’re sensitive to bugs, this is not the one for you.
