Museu de Arte de São Paulo

a small yet impressive collection, presented in an ingenious way. all works are displayed in the style of brazilian architect lina bon bardi who invented the system of mounting paintings on glass panels set into concrete bases so they kind of float in the room instead of sitting on walls. the experience feels a bit more open and less formal. the permanent collection is all in one room but it never feels tight, you just naturally zig from one row to the next.
