Happier, Stupider Times: Anthony Bourdain’s Provincetown Years

one of the highlights of my career was shaping and executing the rollout strategy for matt johnson’s tony, which is officially showing nationwide as of today.

as an extension of the world matt so thoughtfully resurrected, a24 books published a collection of archival photography, graphics, menus, and press clippings documenting the culinary world of provincetown in 1975. it’s a really special object for lovers of a) food culture, b) ephemera, c) ptown/the cape, and d) anthony bourdain. there are very few people, at least in my mind, who don’t fall into one of those categories.
